OUR STORY
The Proposal
There has been lots of ribbing from everyone over the years about there being no engagement yet… But if you’ve ever had dinner at their house, you’ll know these things don’t come quickly!
And as you may know, to the amusement of many, they get out of the country a lot: Greek islands, Norway, France, Madeira and hopefully soon somewhere for margaritas. So it seemed fitting that the proposal finally happened on holiday, at midnight going into their tenth anniversary in Rhodes.
Neil surprised Nikki with the Disney Villain ring of her dreams while on a balcony with a glass of cheap and brilliant local wine. He managed to hide the ring for several days, and Nikki even resisted the urge to search his bags, so it was a genuine surprise.
They have been through a lot together over the last ten years and cannot wait to start the next chapter of their lives together as husband and wife and officially as dad and step-mum, finally.

THEME AND DRESS CODE
Celestial Mamma Mia Nights
We chose this theme to bring together all the things we love: Greek food, summer holidays, Nikki’s Scandinavian heritage, and, of course, a little ABBA magic. Think twinkling stars, Mediterranean/Scandi vibes, and a touch of disco.
Dress code: No need to dress up at all! But if you’d like to join in, we’ll be surrounded by plenty of blues, golds, and silvers, perfect for twinkling under the night sky.
ACCOMMODATION
Where to Stay
For those joining us to celebrate in St Ives, there are plenty of lovely places to stay nearby. Slepe Hall, The Golden Lion, and The Dolphin are all great local options and just a short taxi ride from the venue.
If you’re feeling a little more adventurous (or fancy waking up to countryside views), there’s also camping available right at Burleigh Hill Farm for the outdoorsy types. Bring your tent, campervan, or glamping setup and make a weekend of it under the stars!
GIFT IDEAS
What to Bring
After being together for so long, we truly don’t need any gifts; your presence, travel, and fabulous outfits are more than enough. What we’d really love is for you to join in with The Great Wedding Bake Off and bring along your best bake to share on the day!
However, if you really do want to gift us something, we’ve set up a small honeymoon fund for our adventure the following year – contributions are completely optional but very much appreciated (and will no doubt go towards a cocktail or two).

Please RSVP by 1st June so we can ensure our caterers are prepared. We kindly ask that only those on your invite respond, and that RSVPs are submitted via the website - no texts or emails, please.
Please only RSVP for those on your invite.
If we don’t receive your RSVP by the deadline, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. Please also let us know of any dietary requirements so everyone can be catered for.
